While having dinner, at Ronald and Nancy Reagan's home, Mike Deavers told me the following story.

He said that while Reagan was governor of California there was a small group of people who would go into his office daily and lay their hands on his chair and pray that God would give him wisdom.

He told of an overzealous young secretary who would anoint the governor's chair with oil and asked, "I wondered if any of his suits were ruined by oil?".
